The name Emilio Finatti goes back to a friendship that shaped my family. In the 1950s, Emilio and my dad, Ray, discovered how simple food could pull people closer. That idea—food as connection—has guided me since I first stepped into food service at 14.
Pizza wasn’t an everyday thing in our home; it marked moments. That’s why I fell for the craft in my first pizza job and later opened Emilio Finatti Pizzeria in 2005. The community helped refine our recipes until they felt inevitable.
